Deliver specialized psychiatric nursing care in a supportive, patient-centered environment located in West Point, GA. This contract position offers an opportunity to apply your skills in psychiatric nursing within an in-patient setting, focusing on comprehensive patient assessments, medication management, and individualized care planning.

Schedule:

• Day Shift: 7:00 a.m. 7:30 p.m.
• Night Shift: 7:00 p.m. 7:30 a.m.
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to inform treatment plans.
• Administer and manage medications accurately.
• Develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.
• Intervene effectively during psychiatric crises to ensure safety.
• Maintain detailed documentation and reporting in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current Georgia RN license or compact licensure eligible.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an in-patient psychiatric setting.
• Preference given to local nursing professionals.
