Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• At least one year of recent experience in psychiatric or behavioral health settings
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to remain composed in crisis situations
• Commitment to delivering patient-centered care in a team environment

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time contract assignment
• Shifts may vary; flexibility appreciated

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ongoing patient assessments and contribute to individualized care plans within psychiatric nursing frameworks
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive treatment planning
• Administer medications and monitor for therapeutic and adverse effects
• Provide direct support to patients, including assistance in activities of daily living, crisis intervention, and de-escalation when needed
• Participate in treatment team meetings and patient/family education sessions
• Maintain detailed and accurate electronic health records in compliance with facility standards
• Adhere to patient safety, confidentiality, and infection control guidelines at all times
