Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active RN license, in good standing
• Minimum of one year of psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)

• Ability to maintain composure and provide empathetic support in high-stress situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, holistic nursing care to patients with acute and chronic psychiatric conditions
• Administer medications and perform ongoing assessments of patient mental status
• Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and allied health professionals in care planning
• Implement and monitor individualized care plans and safety protocols
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and coping strategies
• Maintain thorough, accurate medical records as required by facility standards
• Uphold infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies at all times
