Schedule:

• 3 x 12-hour shifts per week
• Rotating weekends: Every third weekend
• No on call

Qualifications:

• Active RN license; minimum 6 months of prior nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing assignment completed
• BLS certification
• Able to obtain CPI certification onsite (must be physically capable to participate in CPI training)
• Demonstrated skills in de-escalation and milieu management across a broad age range
• Ability to perform physical holds, manage restraint/seclusion, and oversee multiple escalated situations
• Proficient with IM medication administration and comfortable managing asthma patients
• Confident working independently and with a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized care to adolescent patients, including those with complex behavioral health needs and trauma backgrounds
• Use effective de-escalation skills and provide safe, therapeutic interventions, including administering medications and managing restraints as needed
• Float within the facility to units serving diverse patient ages as operationally required
• Collaborate with MHTs, therapists, case managers, and security, utilizing available technology and resources (Cerner EMR, Omnicell, dedicated response teams)
• Maintain documentation and contribute to a culture of patient and staff safety
