Step into a vital role delivering psychiatric nursing care within a supportive clinical setting. This contract assignment calls for an experienced RN to provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients dealing with mental health challenges.

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts available: Day Shift (7:00 am 7:30 pm) or Night Shift (7:00 pm 7:30 am)
• 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
• Administer and manage psychiatric medications safely and effectively
• Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans
• Educate patients and provide supportive resources to families and caregivers
• Intervene in psychiatric crises using safe, de-escalation techniques and therapeutic communication
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in patient records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care

Qualifications:

• Active Georgia RN License or Compact State licensure
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year in an inpatient psychiatric setting
