Schedule/Hours:

• Travel contract (specific hours and shift details provided upon interview)

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient and family intake assessments to gather comprehensive case histories.
• Deliver holistic nursing care, including mental and medical health interventions.
• Assess medical and emotional status, consult with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, and recommend treatment options.
• Administer medications, monitor reactions, and arrange additional care as needed.
• Educate clients and families about mental health conditions and treatment plans.
• Foster a safe environment for both patients and staff members.
• Record patient data, maintain confidentiality, and uphold precise documentation per medical protocols.
• Perform essential administrative tasks and respond to patient and visitor requests with professionalism.

Qualifications:

• Current New York RN license (NY License ONLY)
• BLS certification (AHA ONLY)
• Telemetry experience required
• Minimum 2 years of professional nursing experience, ideally in behavior health or psych settings
