Schedule/Hours

  • Three 12-hour shifts per week
  • Weekend rotation every third weekend
  • No on-call required
  • Holiday shifts based on schedule
  • Flexible floating to pediatric and adult behavioral health units

Qualifications

  • RN licensure with at least six months of experience
  • Candidates must have completed at least one previous travel assignment
  • BLS certification (CPI certification completed on-site)
  • Experience with de-escalation, milieu management, and trauma-informed interventions
  • Willingness and physical ability to participate in patient holds and safety procedures
  • Comfortable with adolescent behavioral health and challenging patient scenarios

Role Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to pediatric and adolescent patients with behavioral health needs
  • Administer IM medications and monitor medically cleared asthma patients
  • Exercise sound judgment regarding patient safety, including seclusion and restraint when necessary
  • Efficiently manage simultaneous escalated behavioral situations
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team members: therapists, case managers, and dedicated crisis teams
  • Float between units as needed, caring for children and adults
