Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: 2:45pm to 11:15pm
- Five 8-hour shifts per week (no 12-hour shifts)
- 13-week contract commitment
Key Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for New Hampshire (must provide a copy upon submission)
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA and/or ARC
- Minimum of two years of direct in-patient psychiatric nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment and crisis intervention skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral health disorders
- Conduct patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress
- Administer medications, manage treatment protocols, and respond promptly to behavioral emergencies
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Participate in discharge planning, patient education, and family support
- Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
