Seeking an experienced RN with a focus in Psychiatric Nursing for a contract opportunity. Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and active RN license required.
• At least 1 year of recent psychiatric/behavioral health nursing experience.
• Advanced knowledge in patient assessment, medication administration, and therapeutic intervention for psychiatric patients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong ability to de-escalate crisis situations and work within an interdisciplinary team.
• BLS certification required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer comprehensive nursing care to psychiatric patients, including assessments, medication management, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and mental health professionals.
• Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment by monitoring patient behavior and responding to emergencies.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with all facility and regulatory requirements.
• Engage with patients and families to provide meaningful support and updates regarding care plans and progress.
