Seeking an experienced RN with a focus in Psychiatric Nursing for a contract opportunity. Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and active RN license required.
- At least 1 year of recent psychiatric/behavioral health nursing experience.
- Advanced knowledge in patient assessment, medication administration, and therapeutic intervention for psychiatric patients.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong ability to de-escalate crisis situations and work within an interdisciplinary team.
- BLS certification required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive nursing care to psychiatric patients, including assessments, medication management, patient education, and collaboration with physicians and mental health professionals.
- Participate in the development and implementation of individualized care plans.
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment by monitoring patient behavior and responding to emergencies.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and comply with all facility and regulatory requirements.
- Engage with patients and families to provide meaningful support and updates regarding care plans and progress.
