Seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse with a background in psychiatric care to provide high-quality support to patients in need. This role focuses on delivering specialized nursing interventions, assessments, and collaborative care within a behavioral health setting. Key Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience as a Psychiatric RN or RN-Psych in an inpatient, outpatient, or acute behavioral setting
• Solid understanding of psychiatric disorders, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention techniques
• Demonstrated ability to compassionately manage challenging situations and de-escalate behavioral health crises
• Current certifications in BLS; additional psychiatric or CPI certification preferred

Schedule:

• Contract assignment; schedule specifics provided during interview phase

Core Responsibilities:

• Complete comprehensive psychiatric assessments and ongoing evaluations for patients
• Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with psychiatrists, counselors, and social workers
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor effects, and document responses
• Provide support, education, and therapeutic interventions to patients and families
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic unit environment by following established protocols and best practices
• Contribute to clinical meetings and share insights to foster optimal patient outcomes
• Ensure meticulous documentation and maintain patient confidentiality in all aspects of care

$1,776 - $1,873/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
