Experienced Registered Nurses are needed for a 26-week assignment at a psychiatric and behavioral health hospital. In this vital role, you will provide direct nursing care and clinical support to patients receiving mental health treatment in a secure environment. Opportunities are available on both day and night shifts, with flexible start dates every two weeks.

Schedule & Hours:

• 36 hours per week for day shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 PM)
• 48 hours per week for night shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
• Overtime may be available depending on facility needs

Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate psychiatric nursing care according to facility guidelines and physician orders
• Safely administer medications, therapeutic treatments, and interventions
• Conduct patient assessments, monitor status, and document care provided
• Respond promptly to psychiatric and medical emergencies with appropriate clinical actions
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff to develop effective care plans
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment using de-escalation and behavioral health protocols
• Educate patients and their families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions

Requirements:

• Active RN license in good standing (state-specific requirements apply)
• Prior experience in psychiatric, behavioral health, corrections, or acute care settings preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• CPI, MOAB, or crisis intervention training preferred; may be required before start
• Ability to complete background and drug screening, plus all onboarding steps

$1,290 - $1,360/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
