Seeking experienced psychiatric registered nurses with the skills and compassion to provide outstanding care in an inpatient behavioral health setting. This is a contract opportunity working five 8-hour shifts per week, on the 2nd shift. Schedule:

• 2nd shift: 2:45pm to 11:15pm
• Five 8-hour shifts per week (no 12-hour shifts)
• 13-week contract

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license, valid for work in New Hampshire
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient psychiatric RN experience
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted)
• Must be able to provide a copy of RN license upon request
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary mental health teams
• Strong communication, observation, and clinical assessment skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to adult psychiatric patients in accordance with treatment plans
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document all care
• Conduct clinical assessments and participate in crisis management
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other nursing staff to support quality care
• Educate patients and families about treatment options and care plans
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
