Seeking an experienced RN with a psychiatric nursing background to serve as an Off-Shift House Nurse Supervisor for the overnight shift. This key position helps ensure safe, consistent clinical care during non-daytime hours. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, support nursing staff, and manage urgent care needs throughout the facility.

Schedule:

• 10:45pm 7:15am
• Five 8-hour shifts per week (40 hours total)
• Every other weekend required (Friday and Saturday, 11pm7am)

Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Extensive nursing experience within a psychiatric or behavioral health setting
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and support nursing staff on off-shifts
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Ability to make sound clinical decisions in high-pressure situations
• Current BLS certification (additional specialty certifications preferred)
• Prior experience as a resource nurse, charge nurse, or house supervisor highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee clinical operations throughout the night shift, ensuring quality patient care and staff adherence to protocols
• Serve as the primary nursing resource for onsite staff, responding to urgent situations and supporting staff in managing complex clinical or administrative issues
• Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges overnight, maintaining flow and compliance with facility policies
• Foster a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
• Communicate critical information and shift updates to incoming leadership and day teams
