Registered Nurses with psychiatric or behavioral health experience are needed for a 26-week contract assignment at a specialized psychiatric hospital. Your expertise will make a vital difference for patients in a secure, therapeutic environment, offering hands-on care, safety, and support during their mental health treatment.

Schedule:

• 36 hours per week for day shifts, 48 hours per week for nights (depending on unit needs)
• Days: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Nights: 7:00 PM 7:00 AM
• Overtime may be available based on facility requirements

Requirements:

• Active and clear RN license (state-specific requirements apply)
• Experience in psychiatric, behavioral health, corrections, or acute care settings preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• CPI, MOAB, or crisis intervention training preferred (or willingness to obtain prior to start)
• Ability to meet background check, drug screening, and onboarding standards

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct psychiatric nursing care in alignment with physician orders and facility protocols
• Safely administer medications and therapeutic treatments
• Conduct patient assessments, monitor status, and document clinical findings
• Respond effectively to psychiatric and medical emergencies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teamsincluding psychiatrists, therapists, and support staff
• Develop and update individualized care plans
• Practice and model effective de-escalation and safety techniques
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions

$1,290 - $1,360/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
