Schedule:

• 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

Unit Details:

• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with 15 beds and a dedicated staff of 38
• Day shift supported by intensivists, RNs, desk techs, respiratory therapists, dietary staff, and case management
• Night shift staffed with intensivists, RNs, and respiratory therapists
• Patient ratios of 2:1 ensure quality, attentive care
• Utilizes Meditech/CPN for electronic medical records

Core Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year recent experience in acute care hospital PICU as an RN
• BLS and PALS certifications required

Preferred Experience:

• CRRT proficiency
• APHON certification
• Background in pediatric teaching hospitals

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert care to critically ill pediatric patients in a state-of-the-art teaching hospital
• Perform common procedures including IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
