As a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), youll gain invaluable hands-on experience in a Level II Trauma environment supporting young patients and their families. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, you'll enhance your clinical acumen through exposure to state-of-the-art technology, innovative leadership styles, and a tight-knit staff dedicated to high-quality pediatric care.
Your time here provides a platform to expand your resume with advanced pediatric care techniques and the ability to adapt within a teaching hospitala crucial asset for future roles. Schedule:
- 7:00 AM 7:00 PM, offering a balanced rotation for both professional growth and personal discovery.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license, minimum of 1 year recent acute care PICU experience.
- Current BLS and PALS certifications.
- CRRT experience, APHON certification, and prior pediatric teaching hospital experience are highly valued.
- Strong IV and TPT placement skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based care in a fast-paced pediatric ICU setting.
- Initiate IVs, manage complex monitoring, and support critical interventions.
- Collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and case managers.
- Adapt seamlessly to Meditech/CPN EMR workflows.
