This position will help you advance as a professional by working in a state-of-the-art Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with a Level II Trauma designation. You'll collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team, including intensivists, respiratory therapists, and case managers, allowing you to broaden your clinical skills while connecting with varied approaches to patient care. Exposure to Meditech/CPN EMR and cutting-edge monitoring technology will strengthen your resume. Adapt to different leadership styles, deepen your familiarity with pediatric critical care, and gain new experiences that will set you apart in your nursing career.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license and minimum one year of current acute care hospital PICU experience
  • BLS & PALS certifications required
  • CRRT experience, APHON certification, and previous pediatric teaching hospital work strongly preferred

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Expert in high-acuity patient assessment and care
  • Comfortable performing IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
  • Positive under pressure, patient-centered, and thrives in educational environments

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver vigilant, compassionate care in a 15-bed PICU with a 2:1 patient ratio
  • Collaborate closely with a diverse clinical team
  • Document care and coordinate with families and providers for optimal patient outcomes
  • Demonstrate adaptability in a fast-paced, academic setting
