Working in a Level II Trauma PICU with 15 beds and state-of-the-art equipment, you will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, gaining invaluable insight into varied clinical protocols and leadership styles. This role is ideal for professionals looking to deepen their pediatric ICU expertise while enhancing their resumes with cutting-edge acute care experience in a teaching hospital.
Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 PM 7:00 AM (Night shifts)
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license with at least 1 year of current, acute-care hospital PICU RN experience
- BLS and PALS certifications required
- Experience with CRRT, APHON, or pediatric teaching hospitals highly preferred
- Ability to thrive under pressure and provide excellent patient care in an academic setting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
- Monitor patients and operate advanced CR monitoring equipment
- Perform procedures such as IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
- Collaborate closely with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
