This assignment in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) introduces you to a high-acuity Level II Trauma environment with advanced technology and a dedicated, experienced interdisciplinary team. Thrive in a setting prioritized for professional growth, where youll broaden your skill set, work alongside seasoned intensivists, and contribute to a supportive, patient-centered care culture. The opportunity enables you to expand your resume by collaborating with experts in a teaching hospital and navigating Meditech/CPN charting systems.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

Role Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital PICU RN experience
  • Active RN license
  • Current BLS & PALS certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy) experience
  • APHON (Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses) credentials
  • Pediatric teaching hospital experience

Unit Responsibilities:

  • Provide critical care to pediatric patients as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team
  • Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements
  • Manage a 2:1 patient ratio, ensuring detailed, attentive care
  • Utilize advanced central monitoring equipment and manage documentation with Meditech/CPN EMR
