Youll be joining a dynamic, team-oriented unit that values education, collaboration, and safety. The diverse, high-acuity pediatric patient populationranging from leukemia to sickle cell crisis and adolescent medicineprovides a robust setting for developing expertise and strengthening your pediatric oncology/hematology skillset. Exposure to multidisciplinary teams and cutting-edge practices will broaden your clinical perspective and give your resume a notable edge.

Schedule/Hours

  • 7a-7p (12-hour shifts)
  • Every other weekend rotation
  • 75% holiday coverage expected
  • Schedule set in 6-week cycles

Desired Experience & Qualifications

  • Active RN license with a minimum of 1 year in pediatric hem/oncology acute care
  • BLS required; PALS preferred
  • APHON chemo certification required
  • Strong pediatric assessment, central line management, and chemo administration skills
  • Open to first-time travelers with a robust pediatric background

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care for pediatric hem/oncology and adolescent medicine patients (average census: 14-32)
  • Maintain patient safety, accurate assessment, and timely documentation using Epic EMR
  • Manage central lines and administer chemotherapy
  • Collaborate closely with CNAs, resource nurses, hospitalists, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Float as needed between pediatric units (excluding Peds ED)
