Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
  • Every other weekend required
  • Some holidays included

As a Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Emergency Department, youll work alongside elite medical teams at a high-acuity, Level 1 or 2 trauma center. This role requires solid pediatric emergency backgroundprofessionals with joint Adult/Peds ED-only experience will not be interviewed. Here, youll deepen your triage skills, navigate challenging clinical scenarios, and play a pivotal role in patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Current New York State RN license
  • Certified in BLS, with ability to recertify as needed
  • Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric ED experience in a large acute-care facility (Level 1 or 2 trauma center)
  • Strong triage training and skills required
  • EPIC EMR experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Clean professional record: No license suspension/investigation or liability claims
  • US work authorization; successful pre-hire health clearance, drug screen, and background check

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and implement care plans in high-volume, acute settings
  • Apply advanced triage abilities for pediatric emergencies
  • Utilize EPIC for accurate patient documentation
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure top-quality patient outcomes
