Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts: 7p-7a
- Every other weekend rotation
- No on-call requirement
- Expected to work 75% of holidays
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license with strong pediatric background
- Minimum 1 year in pediatric hem/oncology acute care (PHO) or 1 year in pediatric acute care
- BLS and PALS (preferred)
- Skilled in central line management, chemotherapy administration, advanced pediatric assessment, and critical thinking
- Experience with Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, and Omnicell medication dispensing
Role Responsibilities:
- Manage a patient ratio of 1:4-5 within pediatrics/adolescent medicine
- Care for patients with complex diagnoses, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including CNAs, phlebotomists, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and intensivists
- Float between PA and PHO units as needed (excluding Peds ED)
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability within a dynamic, family-centered unit culture with a strong emphasis on growth and safety
