This opportunity allows Registered Nurses to broaden their expertise, particularly within pediatric oncology and adolescent medicine, thanks to a diverse patient population and advanced medical technology. Schedule/Hours:

  • 7:00 am7:00 pm shifts
  • Weekend rotation: every other weekend
  • No on-call requirement
  • Holiday coverage: 75% of holidays (as part of travel expectation)
  • Schedule cycles: every 6 weeks
  • Free parking onsite

Essential Qualifications:

  • Active RN licensure with 1+ year in pediatric hematology/oncology acute care
  • BLS required; APHON chemotherapy certification mandatory; PALS preferred
  • Strong skills in pediatric assessment, central line management, and chemotherapy administration
  • Prior experience with Epic, Alaris, and Omnicell is advantageous
  • First-time travelers with robust pediatric backgrounds welcomed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional care for patients with leukemia, solid tumors, sickle cell crisis, diabetes, and more
  • Manage patient loads of 34 (hem/oncology) or 45 (adolescent medicine)
  • Collaborate with CNAs, phlebotomy, IV/VAT teams, hospitalists, and other team members
  • Float to various pediatric units as needed, excluding the Peds ED
