As an RN with PACU experience, youll expand your clinical knowledge alongside dedicated teams, gaining exposure to a wide variety of pediatric post-anesthesia care and interdisciplinary practices. Schedule/Hours:
- Variable shifts, with flexibility to align with your lifestyle
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert post-anesthesia care to primarily pediatric patients (ages 0-17), with occasional care for adults as unit needs require
- Monitor and manage telemetry, titrate common ICU drips (heparin, insulin, occasional cardiac)
- Respond to diverse post-surgical needs across most specialties
- Collaborate in an open bay, teamwork-oriented environment
- Chart using EPIC and operate Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Philips monitors
- Participate in the orientation program and contribute to a positive learning culture
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license and minimum 1 year of recent pediatric critical care experience (2 years preferred)
- At least one previous travel assignment completed
- BLS and PALS certification required
- Strong critical thinking and resourcefulness; comfortable seeking guidance and supporting team members
- Experience with post-operative care; ICU drips knowledge essential
