Schedule/Hours:

• 6-week scheduling blocks
• Three on-call shifts required per 6-week period

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license with PACU experience
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• NIH Stroke Scale proficiency
• Trauma and pediatric patient experience highly desired
• Advanced ventilator monitoring skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia care to diverse patient populations, including trauma and pediatric cases
• Interpret and monitor post-op assessments, including neurological and ventilator status
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in floating within the peri-anesthesia environment (Endoscopy, PreOp, Phase II)
• Utilize Cerner documentation system to ensure accurate, timely patient records
• Participate in on-call and scheduled coverage as required
