Schedule/Hours:
- 6-week scheduling blocks
- Three on-call shifts required per 6-week period
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license with PACU experience
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- NIH Stroke Scale proficiency
- Trauma and pediatric patient experience highly desired
- Advanced ventilator monitoring skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia care to diverse patient populations, including trauma and pediatric cases
- Interpret and monitor post-op assessments, including neurological and ventilator status
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in floating within the peri-anesthesia environment (Endoscopy, PreOp, Phase II)
- Utilize Cerner documentation system to ensure accurate, timely patient records
- Participate in on-call and scheduled coverage as required
