This opportunity is ideal for experienced Registered Nurses with PACU experience seeking a dynamic travel role. The position requires expertise in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit nursing across various care settings including Ambulatory/Outpatient, Inpatient, Pediatric PACU, Phase I and Phase II Recovery, Pre-Post care, and Bariatrics. Candidates must hold current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
Responsibilities include providing comprehensive postoperative monitoring and care, managing patient recovery phases, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and responding effectively during call rotations. The position demands taking call one weeknight per week and participating in weekend call rotations approximately every 8 to 10 weeks.
Shift Details:
- Day shift: 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (07:00 AM 05:00 PM).
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid RN license with PACU specialization.
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
- Proficient with Epic electronic health records system.
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced post-anesthesia recovery environments.
- Experience in both adult and pediatric patient populations including bariatric care.
