Schedule:
- 13-week assignment
- 36 hours/week guaranteed
- 4x10 hour shifts: 6:30 am 5:00 pm
- 1012 on-call days within a 6-week schedule
- Floating to other units as needed
Qualifications:
- Active AZ RN license
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent PACU RN experience
- EMR experience with Cerner is preferred
- Flexibility to float if required
- Commitment to continuing clinical education
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, evidence-based PACU care
- Work collaboratively with surgeons and the perioperative team
- Direct and delegate care to support staff based on experience and education
- Maintain accurate EMR records and adhere to all hospital policies
- Foster a positive patient and family experience during post-op recovery
- Demonstrate sound judgement and critical thinking in fast-paced situations
