Schedule/Hours

• Travel assignment; full-time hours

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year pediatric critical care experience required; 2 years strongly preferred
• At least one prior travel assignment successfully completed
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, managing ICU-level drips (heparin, insulin, cardiac meds)
• Team-oriented and adaptable in an open bay, all hands on deck setting
• Comfort with technology (EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, Philips monitors)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver top-tier care for pediatric PACU patients (ages 0-17), both inpatient and outpatient
• Occasionally provide care to adults as needed
• Maintain acute awareness of patient conditions; continuously monitor telemetry
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including anesthesia, educator, and charge nurses
• Participate in safe, efficient patient recovery following a wide range of surgical procedures
