Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications and Experience:
- Active RN license with at least 1 year of critical care pediatric nursing required (2 years preferred)
- Minimum one completed travel assignment
- Certifications: BLS and PALS required
- Expertise caring for post-op peds, comfortable with heparin and insulin gtts
- Experience with telemetry monitoring; familiarity with EPIC, Alaris, Omnicell, Philips monitors
- Strong team player, adaptable, self-motivated, skilled at seeking support when needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia care for pediatric (and occasional adult) patients
- Monitor patients vitals and recovery progress, reporting changes proactively
- Collaborate closely with transporters, a PACU educator, and dedicated charge/manager (non-patient care)
- Maintain safety and efficiency in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
- Float to assist with adult cases if necessary
