As a skilled RN-PACU specializing in pediatric care, youll work in a high-acuity, Level 1 Trauma academic center renowned for leading-edge medical practices, a diverse patient mix, and collaborative leadership. Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license with a minimum 1 year of direct pediatric critical care experience (2 years preferred)
• At least one prior travel nursing assignment completed (first-time travelers not eligible)
• Certifications: BLS, PALS
• Comfort managing ICU-level drips (heparin, insulin, occasional cardiac); telemetry monitoring
• Team-oriented and adaptable; confident in open-bay, fast-paced environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct post-anesthesia care to pediatric patients (ages 017), primarily inpatient with occasional outpatient
• Manage a patient load of 1:1 or 1:2 acuity-dependent, with flexibility to provide support for adult patients as needed
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including transport staff, PACU educator, and dedicated charge RN
• Utilize EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell dispensing, and Philips monitors
• Participate in comprehensive orientation with ongoing support
