Embrace the chance to collaborate with experienced clinicians in a Level II Trauma Center and Level III NICU and Maternity Center. Working with diverse patient groups and complex casesincluding robotics, neuro, bariatrics, and advanced outpatient procedureswill deepen your clinical acumen and enrich your experience with various workplace practices. Exposure to advanced technology such as EPIC, Alaris pumps, and Pyxis adds valuable skills to your resume, while working alongside multidisciplinary teams provides insight into innovative leadership styles and high standard practices.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday, set schedule based on department needs
- No weekends, on-call, or holiday requirements
- Up to 4 days of approved time off (RTO)
Required Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Phase I/Phase II PACU experience
- CAPA or CPAN certification
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, cardiac gtt management, and experience with post-cath, bronchs, and IR patient recoveries
- EPIC proficiency and experience with patient discharge education
- Professional, team-focused approach and flexibility to float between PACU units
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to post-anesthesia pediatric and adult patients
- Cover both Pre-op and Phase I/Phase II PACU as needed
- Interpret and act on cardiac monitoring
- Provide discharge instructions to patients and families
- Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, charge RNs, and other clinical staff to optimize patient outcomes
- Support a culture of teamwork and continual learning
