This role offers a challenging opportunity to provide expert nursing care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) while supporting surgical teams in a dynamic healthcare setting. The position requires a skilled Registered Nurse with perioperative experience who excels in coordinating and delivering patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients recovering from surgery
- Coordinate and delegate patient care activities within established standards of nursing practice
- Assist the primary operating surgeon during perioperative care to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Uphold professionalism and leadership consistent with facility policies and nursing standards
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality care and safety
- Adhere to ethical guidelines, service standards, and continuous quality improvement initiatives
Desired Qualifications:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with PACU experience
- Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing protocols and patient monitoring post-anesthesia
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Dedication to maintaining patient safety and comfort during recovery
