Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 12:00 PM 8:30 PM
- 36 hours guaranteed weekly
- Variable/flexible scheduling
- Weekend and call requirements discussed during interview
Qualifications:
- Active Texas RN license (no temporary licenses accepted)
- Minimum 2 years hospital/travel RN experience, including pre-op and Phase II surgical discharge
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Preferred: Previous PACU experience, strong IV skills, Meditech EMR experience
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert care for pre-op and post-anesthesia patients
- Ensure safe surgical discharges and collaborate with anesthesia for pain block procedures
- Maintain meticulous patient records using Meditech
- Float as assigned per facility policy, adapting to unit needs
- Adhere to clinical guidelines and uphold high standards for dress and personal appearance
