In this peri-anesthesia care unit (PACU) travel nurse role, you will provide expert recovery support to surgical patients, working closely with a multidisciplinary care team. Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license
- At least 1 year of recent PACU experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong clinical assessment and IV skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Adaptability to new settings and rapid learning
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, vigilant care for patients recovering from anesthesia
- Assess and monitor patient vitals, airway, and pain management
- Provide reassurance and education to patients and families
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and the surgical team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Respond rapidly to clinical changes or emergencies
