Schedule:
- 40 hours per week
- On call: 4 shifts of 12 hours within a 6-week period
- Weekend: Every other weekend
- Holiday: Work any holiday coinciding with your regular schedule
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license with nursing experience in PACU
- ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
- Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork abilities
- Adaptable to fast-paced environments and new technology
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert care during post-anesthesia recovery
- Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient conditions
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure timely and clear documentation of care delivered
- Educate patients and families on post-surgical care and instructions
