Step into a dynamic role dedicated to providing high-quality patient care in a Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) setting. As a Registered Nurse specializing in PACU, you'll play a key part in ensuring safe, thorough post-surgical care for patients while collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals. Key Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Previous PACU experience required
• Demonstrated proficiency in perioperative care
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care efficiently
• Strong leadership qualities and interpersonal communication skills
• Experience assisting surgeons in perioperative settings is highly desirable
• Knowledge of nursing standards and hospital protocols
• BLS, ACLS certifications (current)

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care to patients recovering from surgery
• Assist the primary operating surgeon during perioperative phases, ensuring patient safety and adherence to best practices
• Coordinate, delegate, and document patient care in accordance with established nursing standards
• Collaborate with physicians, other nurses, and hospital staff to promote patient recovery and satisfaction
• Uphold facility guidelines and policies while exemplifying professionalism and accountability in every interaction
• Maintain compliance with Tenet Standards of Conduct relating to service, quality, people, growth, and cost
• Demonstrate competence in monitoring post-anesthesia reactions and rapidly implementing appropriate interventions
