A Registered Nurse with experience in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (RN-PACU) is needed for a contract position in Paso Robles, California. This role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care to ensure excellent outcomes in the perioperative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide professional nursing functions including coordination and delegation of patient care.
- Assist the primary operating surgeon during the perioperative period, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Uphold established Standards of Nursing Practice while fostering collaboration among healthcare team members.
- Maintain personal accountability in alignment with organizational standards of conduct, service, quality, and growth.
- Function within facility policies and report to the Director of Perioperative Services.
- Demonstrate leadership and professionalism in this expanded nursing role.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Experience in post-anesthesia care or perioperative nursing.
- Ability to perform under the direction of surgeons in a surgical setting.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
