Qualifications & Experience:

• Active RN license in the state of California
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Previous experience in PACU or perioperative care preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated ability to multitask and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to upholding ethical nursing standards and fostering cooperation among team members

Schedule:

• Contract position; schedule details provided during interview process

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care of patients recovering from anesthesia
• Coordinate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for safe patient transitions
• Function under the direct guidance of the primary operating surgeon for perioperative care
• Fulfill accountability measures as set by national nursing standards and facility guidelines
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and quality assurance initiatives
• Demonstrate leadership and professionalism as a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA)
• Provide support and delegation as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes
