Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 am 5:00 pm
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid and unrestricted RN licensure
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- At least 3 years of PACU RN experience required; preference for candidates with 5 or more years
- Dependable, reliable, and adaptable to a dedicated OR environment
- Strong clinical assessment, patient advocacy, and recovery skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate post-anesthesia care for surgical patients, ensuring safety and comfort during recovery
- Monitor vital signs and implement physician orders, addressing changes in patient condition promptly
- Manage an inpatient PACU assignment of 1:4, up to a 1:6 max patient ratio
- Collaborate with surgical teams to maintain a consistently high standard of care
- Thoroughly document observations and interventions to support quality outcomes
