This travel PACU RN opportunity will enable you to grow your nursing practice by working alongside multi-disciplinary teams and a variety of respected leaders in the healthcare setting. Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment
- Schedule will be based on unit needs; details provided during the interview process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of PACU patients during designated shifts.
- Prescribe and implement care plans that align with physician guidance and input from patients and families.
- Coordinate patient care for all age groups, adapting interventions to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.
- Participate in education and discharge planning, empowering patients and families for post-hospital success.
- Delegate tasks according to staff competencies and scope of practice regulations.
Qualifications:
- Current RN license (required) and minimum of 1 year of recent PACU or critical care experience preferred.
- Proficient in the full nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills.
- BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications may be required depending on assignment specifics).
