Schedule/Hours:

• Travel assignment
• Schedule will be based on unit needs; details provided during the interview process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of PACU patients during designated shifts.
• Prescribe and implement care plans that align with physician guidance and input from patients and families.
• Coordinate patient care for all age groups, adapting interventions to neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Participate in education and discharge planning, empowering patients and families for post-hospital success.
• Delegate tasks according to staff competencies and scope of practice regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license (required) and minimum of 1 year of recent PACU or critical care experience preferred.
• Proficient in the full nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and team collaboration skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (additional certifications may be required depending on assignment specifics).
