Position Details:
- Weekly Hours: 40
- Schedule: On call requirement of 4 x 12-hour shifts within a 6-week period
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Any holiday occurring during your regular shift
Qualifications:
- Current RN license with experience in PACU or perioperative nursing
- Valid ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- Adaptability to evolving clinical environments
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to post-anesthesia patients
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes
- Collaborate closely with surgical and anesthesia teams
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure seamless care transitions
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort throughout recovery
