Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week assignment
- 36 hours guaranteed per week
- 4x10-hour shifts: 6:30 a.m. 5:00 p.m.
- 10-12 days of on-call per 6-week schedule period
Qualifications:
- Current Arizona RN license
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Minimum 2 years' recent experience in a PACU setting
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR
- Flexible with floating as needed
- Strong critical thinking, leadership, and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive care to post-anesthesia patients, collaborating closely with surgeons and perioperative teams
- Apply clinical judgment and nursing process in alignment with state Nurse Practice Act, AORN, and facility policies
- Prioritize and delegate care based on staff competency
- Supervise and support assigned staff in patient care activities
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education
