Key Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license in Georgia or Compact state
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- Minimum of one year experience in PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) nursing
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care
Responsibilities:
- Monitor patient recovery and vital signs post-surgery
- Assess patient status, recognizing complications promptly
- Administer medications and provide pain management as ordered
- Communicate clearly with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and families
- Document nursing assessments and interventions accurately
- Support patients and families throughout the recovery process
