This role places you in a dynamic post-anesthesia care setting that averages 6080 patients daily, caring for both pediatric and adult populations. Surgeries include general, plastics, bariatrics, robotics, neurosurgery, ortho, and more, providing tremendous variety. With a supportive environment that includes hospitalists, RT, anesthesia providers, and CNAs available 24/7, youll collaborate with a talented multidisciplinary team and sharpen your clinical adaptability. Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday Friday; hours dependent on department needs
  • No weekends, on-call, or holiday requirements
  • Set schedule with up to 4 days of RTO allowed per contract

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current RN license; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • CAPA or CPAN certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent PACU (Phase I/II) experience
  • Comfort with pediatric and adult populations
  • Skilled in cardiac rhythm interpretation, titration of cardiac gtts, and thorough post-op instructions
  • Proficient in EPIC documentation and use of Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis dispensing
  • Prior experience recovering post-cath, bronchs, and IR patients strongly preferred
  • Team-oriented; flexible with floating between recovery phases as needed

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and effective care for a variety of surgical patients
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, RT, anesthesia, and hospitalists
  • Deliver thorough discharge teaching and compassionate post-op support
  • Support colleagues to ensure optimal patient flow and outcomes
