As an RN with a focus in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), youll have the opportunity to expand your skill set and adapt to innovative workplace practices and diverse leadership styles. Key Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- At least one year of recent PACU nursing experience
- Proven ability to care for patients recovering from anesthesia
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients post-surgery in the PACU
- Provide vigilant, high-quality care during recovery from anesthesia
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians, anesthetists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families regarding post-operative care
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient documentation

$1,685 - $1,843/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
