Provide expert nursing care as an RN in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Los Osos, CA. This contract opportunity is ideal for those skilled in patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role involves coordinating and managing patient care while ensuring adherence to established nursing standards and fostering teamwork among healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients recovering from anesthesia following surgery
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Coordinate and delegate patient care tasks within the PACU team
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare providers
- Maintain compliance with nursing practice standards and facility policies
- Assist the primary surgeon during perioperative care as directed
- Demonstrate leadership and high professionalism in all aspects of nursing practice
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Previous experience in PACU or perioperative nursing preferred
