Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Demonstrated experience in a PACU setting
• Strong assessment, monitoring, and documentation abilities

• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
• Adaptability to fast-paced, high-acuity environments

Schedule:

• Contract position; flexible scheduling options may be available, depending on department needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess post-anesthesia patients, addressing changes in condition promptly
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to safety protocols
• Provide clear instructions and comfort to patients and their families throughout the recovery process
• Collaborate closely with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and perioperative staff to coordinate care
• Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
• Respond rapidly to emergency situations and perform appropriate interventions
