This assignment provides the chance to work in a prominent academic medical center, recognized as a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Center. Youll be immersed in a high-acuity, pediatric-focused PACU that values collaboration, innovation, and learning from top-tier leaders. Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of critical care pediatric experience (2 years preferred)
- Completion of at least one prior travel assignment
- BLS and PALS certification required
- Expertise in managing ICU-related gtts (e.g., heparin, insulin); limited post-op BiPAP exposure
- Team-focused, adaptable, and inquisitive mindset; comfort working in an open-bay, collaborative environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver post-anesthesia care to pediatric surgical patients (also occasionally adult patients as needed)
- Maintain vigilant telemetry monitoring and support diverse surgical specialties (excluding cardiac)
- Collaborate closely with PACU educator, dedicated charge RN/manager, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ensure patient needs are met, leveraging in-unit support such as 24/7 anesthesia and administrative staff
- Manage documentation and monitoring using EPIC, Alaris, Omnicell, and Philips equipment
