Caring primarily for pediatric patients across all surgical specialties except cardiac, you'll broaden your clinical expertise in a 20-bay unit handling 30-40 patients daily. This opportunity is ideal for nurses eager to deepen their skills in PACU and critical care pediatrics, working alongside a supportive interdisciplinary teamincluding PACU educators and 24/7 anesthesia coverage.

Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum 1 year of pediatric critical care PACU experience (2 years preferred)
- Previous completion of at least one travel assignment
- BLS and PALS certification required
- Strong communication, adaptability, and teamwork skills
Responsibilities:
- Care for primarily pediatric post-surgical patients, occasionally adults as needed
- Manage patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:2 based on acuity
- Utilize EMR (EPIC), IV pumps (Alaris), and telemetry monitoring (Philips)
- Collaborate in an open bay, team-oriented setting"all hands on deck" approach
- Administer common ICU drips, minimal use of BiPAP, float as needed
- Participate in facility and unit orientation with two precepted shifts
