This travel nursing assignment places you in a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Center with 885 licensed beds. The facility's commitment to teaching and clinical excellence fosters continuous learning, supporting professional growth through exposure to best practices, seasoned leadership, and multidisciplinary teamwork. With a bustling, high-acuity pediatric PACU (20 bays, average 3040 patients/day), youll broaden your skills caring for complex cases across surgical specialties.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time, travel assignment (details provided upon interview)

Desired Qualifications:

  • 1 year of pediatric critical care/PACU RN experience required; 2+ years strongly preferred
  • At least one completed travel assignment
  • Active RN license and certifications in BLS and PALS
  • Mastery of drips (heparin, insulin, occasional cardiac) and comfort in a collaborative, open bay unit
  • Experience with Epic, Alaris, Omnicell, and Philips monitors preferred
  • Able to flexibly assist with occasional adult cases

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to pediatric PACU patients (primarily ages 017)
  • Monitor telemetry, administer medications/IV drips, and support safe recovery post-surgery
  • Collaborate in an all-hands-on-deck environment with PACU educators, transport, and 24/7 anesthesia support
  • Utilize strong problem-solving skills, seek assistance when needed, and maintain a team-oriented approach
