Schedule/Hours:

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing, as recognized by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
• Previous experience in a PACU or perioperative setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Clinical knowledge aligned with evidence-based nursing and well-versed in ANA Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
• Ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams of licensed and unlicensed care providers

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, individualized care and patient advocacy during the post-anesthesia recovery process
• Effectively assess, monitor, and manage patients experiencing post-operative conditions and needs
• Collaborate daily with physicians, nurse managers, and allied health staff to ensure top-quality care delivery
• Participate in implementation and adaptation of nursing protocols, policies, and procedures to support best practices
• Uphold system standards and support goals for service excellence, patient safety, and ongoing improvement
