Make a meaningful impact within perioperative nursing by providing compassionate, high-quality care to patients in the post-anesthesia care unit (PACU). As a registered nurse specializing in PACU, youll play a central role within an interdisciplinary team, delivering patient-focused support and advocating for safety throughout the recovery process. Schedule/Hours:

Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing, as recognized by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
- Previous experience in a PACU or perioperative setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Clinical knowledge aligned with evidence-based nursing and well-versed in ANA Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics
- Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
- Ability to collaborate within interdisciplinary teams of licensed and unlicensed care providers
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, individualized care and patient advocacy during the post-anesthesia recovery process
- Effectively assess, monitor, and manage patients experiencing post-operative conditions and needs
- Collaborate daily with physicians, nurse managers, and allied health staff to ensure top-quality care delivery
- Participate in implementation and adaptation of nursing protocols, policies, and procedures to support best practices
- Uphold system standards and support goals for service excellence, patient safety, and ongoing improvement
