- Standard scheduling within a perioperative care environment
Key Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license in the state of Georgia
- Demonstrated experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) or similar post-operative environment
- Strong understanding of evidence-based nursing practice and patient safety standards
- Commitment to adhering to Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics
- Well-versed in interdisciplinary team collaboration, with effective communication skills for patients, families, and peers
- Ability to navigate and implement best practices guided by professional nursing models and shared governance frameworks
Core Responsibilities:
- Monitor, assess, and care for post-anesthesia patients, ensuring individualized, high-quality nursing care
- Operate as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team responsible for patient well-being and safety
- Communicate efficiently with patients, family members, and significant others regarding post-operative care and instructions
- Document and uphold all unit, hospital, and professional nursing policies and standards
- Support clinical leadership and participate in ongoing professional development
